What Is This Festival?
Food stalls sell street food from different countries. It happens during Ramadan month (the fasting month). People eat after sunset when fasting ends. You can try food from India, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, and more.

- Arabic: Dates, kunafa (sweet cheese pastry), samosas
- Indian: Biryani (rice with meat), chaat (spicy snacks)
- Pakistani: Haleem (meat stew), nihari
- Egyptian: Falafel, koshari

- Drinks: Fresh juices, laban (yogurt drink), Arabic coffee

What to Know About Ramadan
Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. They eat before sunrise (suhoor) and after sunset (iftar). Everyone can join the iftar meal. Wait for the prayer call before eating. Say “Ramadan Kareem” (means have a generous Ramadan)

- Zabeel Park: Take Metro to Al Jafiliya or World Trade Centre
- Al Seef: Take Metro to Al Ghubaiba, walk 10 minutes
- By Bus: Many RTA buses go to these locations
- Parking: Available but fills up fast
Helpful Tips
Go with empty stomach – lots to eat! Try small portions from different stalls. Bring wet wipes, eating with hands is common. Wear comfortable, modest clothes. Take photos, very colorful and beautiful.
